Why did you first come to IBC? 

After living in Alaska for 11 years, we sensed the need to be closer to our aging parents. My husband's mom was in Port Angeles! I had lived here in the summer of 1971, fell in love with the area and now it has been "home" for 22 years!

How would you describe yourself?

A woman in process.

Best advice you ever received?

Laugh more than you do ... especially at yourself!

What has God been doing lately that has surprised you?

James 4:6, "But He gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble." His way is the way of abundance, grace, grace, more grace.

What is the one book that has most impacted you?

As a very new Christian reading "Through the Gates of Splendor" by Elizabeth Elliot and of course God's Living Word!

What is your greatest challenge?

Maintaining relationships in a very busy world, i.e. working, caring for my disabled husband, family, ministry.

What inspires you?

Scripture, quiet, friends, God's movement in our midst, working in the garden. 

What is something most people don't know about you?

I love to fly kites.

What is your life verse?

Proverbs 31:25, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
